What you need, included at no cost
Discover the benefits unique to Co-op Mode partnerships with MLC Studio. It’s leaps above co-dev.
Get up to $50k in art credits
As part of the partnership, we’ll boost your art budget with credits that make your spend go further. These aren’t predefined and are negotiated based on the project.
An example of how this might look:
$60k Art budget for your game to MLC.
$10k Art credits returned to the project from MLC.
This turns your $60k into $70k worth of budget, or reduces your actual spend to $50k.
Access relationships that matter
We travel around the world to meet with publishers in person and have a track record of high quality projects that we send their way. Some publishers that are hard to get a quick response from are easily accessible to MLC (subject to the project).
Where we meet with publishers:
- GDC
- Gamescom
- Reboot Develop
- Nordic Game
- London Games Festival
- Develop:Brighton
We’re also members of important associations, such as:
- Ukie
- BAFTA
- Women In Games
- Game Anglia
We’ll set the project up for commercial success
Market research, price point analysis, revenue forecasting, data-backed budget building and more commercial stature that, if you are not doing, is setting you up to miss out on indie success.
We provide this free of charge to our co-op mode partners and it’s paramount to not just shipping a title, but also acquiring funding, ensuring market fit and creating enough revenue to allow your studio to continue making awesome games.
A producer in your corner
It seems to be a common pitfall that indie studios don’t have the capacity to have a dedicated producer on the project. This is mainly due to budget and people constraints, not a lack of talent or need.
What an MLC experienced producer brings:
- Milestone planning and execution
- Maximum team productivity
- Less burnout and crunch (ideally zero)
- Happier teams, cleaner game
- Credibility to publishers
