We produced a bundle of pixel art assets, a logo animation and game trailer for Birthright, a digital trading card game, in preparation for their Kickstarter. The bright colours and fun style to work with made this a super fun project to have had the pleasure of working on!

The Brief

We partnered with the Birthright team on their project. They wanted to capture a style similar to Steven Universe, but taking a lot of inspiration from EarthBound Beginnings (aka Mother). Bright colours were important to capture the connection to Steven Universe. Working from written character descriptions, our artist was able to create vivid character portraits showing off their unique personalities.
