FAQs

We’re comfortable working across all major 2D perspectives (and to get creative with new ideas) and we’ll create the art to your game’s mechanics and player view.
We offer frame-by-frame animation, rigged puppet-style animation (e.g. Spine or Unity-based), and FX animation. Let us know your engine setup and style, and we’ll recommend the best fit.
You’ll receive final assets in PNG or other target formats, plus editable PSDs or AI files if needed. We also supply animation exports (e.g. sprite sheets, Spine JSONs, etc.) based on your engine’s needs. For longer ongoing projects we can work within your source control for direct upload into your engine.
We build in key approval stages – typically sketch, line, colour and final polish – with two rounds of revisions at each stage. You’ll always know when feedback is due and what’s locked in.

Yes – we do it all the time. We ensure cohesive design language across characters, props, and backgrounds to keep the whole world feeling unified, it’s part of our core value!
Yes. We can create art bibles/blueprints, usage guides, or style documentation to help your internal team or other partners use assets correctly. This would be completed by one of our art directors. Technical documentation where needed will also be written or provided by technical artists.

Delivered Amazing Assets

I worked with MLC on art assets for my game, and they were incredible from the get-go. They worked hard to ensure everything fit our budget and we worked one of their incredible pixel artists. The team were super responsive, delivered amazing assets, and were always willing to apply feedback, a real pleasure to work with.
