FAQs

It depends on the complexity of your trailer and how much prep you’ve done. For a straightforward gameplay trailer using existing footage and a clear brief, we can usually turn it around in 3–4 weeks. If we’re handling everything – capture, edit, motion graphics, sound, polish – expect closer to 6–8 weeks. We always work to your key dates and keep things moving fast, without compromising on quality.
We include two rounds of revisions as standard – one after the first cut, and another for final tweaks. That’s usually more than enough. If you need more changes or want to explore multiple creative directions, just let us know and we’ll scope that in. Most importantly, we want to focus on creating something that resonates with players and helps to sell your game.
Gameplay trailers show the actual game in action using real in-game footage. Cinematic trailers are more stylised and scripted, often using custom scenes, VO, and VFX to tell a story or build mood. Cinematic trailers are generally split between true cinematic (custom trailer assets and rendering outside of the game engine) and realtime cinematic (generally using upscaled game assets within engine). We can do both (or blend the two), depending on what you need and what your goals are – for example, selling a pitch vs. converting on Steam.
Absolutely. All our trailers are built with end-to-end polish in mind. That includes editing, motion graphics, music sourcing or custom composition/sound design, and post effects – whatever it takes to make your game shine. You can bring your own assets, or we can handle everything from scratch.
Yes. We’ve captured gameplay for everything from horror to puzzles to narrative adventures. We know what publishers and players look for, and we’ll work with your team to get the best footage – whether that’s hands-on in dev builds or directing a capture session over Discord.

WOW!

I couldn’t be more impressed with the team’s work. Despite a tight turnaround, their artistry and production management exceeded every expectation. Sam’s creativity even earned us a “WOW!” from the client, and the motion graphics team brought incredible energy to the trailer. We’re already looking forward to the next collaboration!

Exactly What I Had Envisioned

I really enjoyed working with MLC. I asked them to do a trailer for my game, the entire process was really smooth, as I was able to communicate directly with the video editor through Discord and we hashed through the process together. The end result was exactly what I had envisioned, and I really liked the level of communication as I was able to get feedback and answers within hours.
